Today i've been cutting out fabric to make up more purse's and clutch bag's.
Just finished cutting out a paper pattern to make up a new bag design!!

Today is the biggest party of the year in Figueira da Foz, St. Joao!!

Popular marches throughhout the day.
Firework spectacular on the beach at minight.
Dj's on the front, till 7h00.
Local bands playing etc.......

I grew up in southern England where I studied fashion design.
After graduating I moved to London where I lived and worked for many years.
Next stop!! Long Beach, California. I lived here for two years, which I adorded, before moving back to England.
Itchie feet again and I found myself in Portugal and this is where i've been for the last eight years and now call home!!
I live by the beach with my cat 'Mouse' and scruffy doggie, Poppy.
This is where I create!! Paint, design and make accessory's...

These beautiful necklace's were inspired by my black and white cameo original fashion illustrations.

My illustration has been made smaller to fit behind a crystal glass domed oval cabochon camo, both set into a antique bronze oval embossed cameo base.
The edge is surrounded by metallic mix bugle beads, which have been varnished.
Finished off with a tiny satin bow.

Details;
Antique bronze, brass base metal lobster clasp and brass oval link chain, length approx 48 cm drop.
Nickel free and lead free.

Will come in a beautiful little draw string bag!!

Queens Jubilee

My Jubilee party was a great success!!
A little piece of England in my Portugese secret garden :)

I spent the day decorating my garden.......
Bunting hanging all over, drapped along twinkly fairy lights.
Jam jars filled with tealights scattered around, creating light as the day turned to dusk!!
Jars hanging randomly from my old plum tree, lighting up the drinks area.
Tiki torches and citrnella candles lighting up the food area.
Balloons, sparklers and hearts strung along bamboo fencing.
It really looked a picture!!

Well!! The food was amazing!!
Traditional English fair, all handmade:)

Friends and family arrived and the party begun.
Long live the queenie!!
